Speaking FAQ's

How long do you get to speak?

20-25 minutes.

Will it be filmed?

Yes. We bring in a filmmaker and photographer to capture the event and we also edit the videos and photos and send you copies later for your future use.

What are your speaking guidelines?

We’ll provide guidelines leading up to the event

What is the theme of the event?

We have a loose theme which is really the bLU theme of Business, Life, Universe. And so as long as your message fits in within those themes, one or combined, that will fit for this event.

What if I can’t attend the event as we get closer to the event or the event has to be changed?

We can move you to the next bLU Talks event that you can make work with your schedule.

Do we have to use PowerPoint / Can we use PowerPoint?

You can use a PowerPoint but you don’t have to. It’s completely optional.

Will there be a timer?

Yes.

Will there be a monitor where I can see my presentation?

Yes.

How many people attend the events?

Typically up to 100 people.

What is the live audience type? (what is the reader demo?)
